About Us

Hull College Students’ Union is a non-profit organisation working solely for the 22,000+ students at the Hull College Group across all campuses in Hull, Goole, Harrogate and Scarborough. We are here to listen to you and improve your student experience by acting as your representative body, by campaigning for student rights and by providing student opportunities such as sports, societies and volunteering.

We’re a democratic organisation, led by students-for students. Our policies and priorities must be student-led and student focused and we do this through an elected officer team, course reps, student council, forums and regular activities to gather student opinion.

We are also affiliated with the National Union of Students, a voluntary membership organisation which makes a real difference to the lives of students and its member students’ unions. NUS are a confederation of 600 students’ unions, amounting to more than 95 per cent of all higher and further education unions in the UK.
