Wii-lympics

Date: Thursday 16th February 2012     

Time: 12:45pm       

Venue: Riverside Theatre—Horncastle Building

Price: £3 per team member — 4 members per team

The event will start with an Opening Ceremony at 12:45pm. Throughout the event there will be stalls to visit in the Olympic Village (located at the back of the theatre) such as Xbox Kinect, Student Union and Dove House. Plus also a spectator area for anyone to come and watch what’s going on!

The competition will be in a knockout style and will consist of several Wii Olympic games, the winners of each one will progress to the final, of which will be a mystery event!

The event will finish with a Closing Ceremony and medals and prizes will be presented.

The event has been part funded by the Student Union through The Pitch and the Technical Theatre students are raising money for Dove House Hospice, a local charity made to support the lives’ of people from the community who have life-limiting illnesses. Dove House Hospice offer a haven for the latter parts of their lives to spend with their families, so its definitely a good cause to raise money for!
